This kit includes raw ¼" MDF panels with an extra-wide bead. The top and bottom rails are taller and notched so the panels fit cleanly into place. The result is a professional, finished look with less work required.
This kit uses our raw, MDF Panels (¼" thick) that have an extra-wide Bead. The new Bottom Rail is notched out so the ¼" panels can fit right into it and give you a professionally finished look; it is taller than the original lower rail, which makes it stand out in any room. The Top Rail is also taller and is also notched in order for the ¼" panel to fit in. This little notch allows the finished job to look cleaner and makes the job much easier because there is less finishing work required. Also include are six raw MDF Beaded Shiplap Panels that are ¼" thick and 16" wide with six Deep Beads about 3" apart that fit together seamlessly. The panels are 44 ¼" for the 56" high kit. The Upper and Lower Rails with the Cap adds approximately 12" to the height of the panels. If you prefer something shorter, the panels can easily be cut down on-site.
