The Large Traditional base is destined to be a classic. The 10 1/4" diameter is spread across an eight sided, gently curved pedestal center and fits perfectly with our Traditional Pedestal Feet (Part #1177). Ordering these pieces separately allows you to create more of a custom base to fit your specific needs. We recommend that the diameter of the pedestal be at least half the diameter of your table top. If you have a larger table but love the look of this base you can order two bases and six to eight feet to create your own pedestal base kit! You could also order our complete Traditional Pedestal Base Kit (Part #1178) which features one center and four feet. The Traditional Pedestal Feet are the feet that are specifically designed and made to go with this pedestal. Other feet are not interchangeable to fit this base.
